News letter this week again brought to you by the volunteers, the charity has been spending money recently to help in the village. Please remember we are in constant need of your assistance. Please tell tourists you meet and your guests that there is a direct and constructive way they can help the future of Puerto Morelos. CALENDAR AND PICS

PUERTO MORELOS MUSIC FESTIVAL FRI AND SAT 5PM IN THE PARK
Local and visiting artists will be playing from 5pm in the evening soloists and groups with a variety of sounds!- they are all performing in support of the Puerto Morelos Cultural Centre - go along and support them and have fun fro free, the Cultural Centre is a great facility , they need our support to keep it going. No alcohol event.

VISITORS CENTRE
Thanks goes to citizens of PM who joined together to create this beautiful little building. It's in the palapa next to DIF where the Firemen used to be and has some really interesting photos and information about PM. The stained glass on the calendar I've sent you is inside the centre.

BEACH TOILETS AND PROPOSED FACILITIES

CARACOL
Opened for dinner this week as a soft opening, go and meet them and they will be delighted to talk about what your favourite foods are.

TANINO'S
is going strong, had a delightful bottle of wine with excellent cheeses and cold meats there on Tuesday night. Great place to meet friends and watch the passing parade.

BAZAAR APRIL 7
We are inviting local artists to exhibit and sell their work at the next bazaar, we will of course take a percentage but we are excited about creating an arts and crafts bazaar to benefit the village. Give Patti a call if you want to participate or know someone who should 998 2057550

CANTINA HABANERO 8 days a week !
opened this week and will be open all day and late in the night. Famous ribs and garlic shrimp (ed. note: more garlic please) and all your favourite Habaneros fare; Uve back in the kitchen plus a great new bartender. Live music promised. As Ellen said its the only place she feels comfy enough to go on her own, always friendly and always someone you know there.

PEOPLE
Billy just can't help himself - he's working flat out helping the schools, anyone have any oil paint in their shed? He wants to paint the swings for the kiddies, I'm serious. Susan Harrison arrives back Saturday, Emily returns early from Guatemala Thursday, the little twins are in town for a short visit, Reed's here from San Miguel, Tony's here from san Antonio, Sandy has a job at El Cid looking after their horses, Mark's sister Joanne is here from Cairo, new young cute doctor Alfonso started worked at the medical clinic, Shan and Bruno leaving town to live in Merida, boohoo and Marcella leaving to live in Argentina!
