PLANTS IN THE MAYAN CULTURE - a Book Signing with Svetlana Aleksandroff
6 years in the making this beautifully photographed and illustrated book is a wonderful insight into this region and all it has to offer, come along and meet the author and have your book signed. The book is a great local resource as well as wonderful souvenir.

UNDERSTANDING MEXICAN WINE CULTURE, - a wine tasting presented by Casa Caribe, Tulipanes and World of Wines. It's that time of year again for the annual charity bazaar - a great community day with bargains, food and friends. Please start cleaning out your closets (Puerto Morelos residents) , get rid of your clutter and donate to a good cause! Drop off goods at Patti and Emily's 998 2057550, Casa Amarilla, Calle Andres Quintana Roo starting February 2nd. Will you be in town and can volunteer on the day? Well in his one day course, Michael Maurus, a professional photographer with 25 years experience, will explain all, easily and effectively.
Michael is presenting classes at 9am on Mondays and Saturdays at Casa Caribe in Puerto Morelos, the newest bed and breakfast, in a lovely tropical setting. He will explain aperture, exposures, depth of field and the secrets of good landscapes and portraits. The class includes lunch from The Little Mexican Cooking School and finishes around 5pm and costs USD98
